POSSE tapped into LA’s most relevant cultural figures for its fifth annual Pride celebration, a glitter-soaked night that blurred the lines between exclusive celebrity party, award ceremony, and Queer family reunion.

Curated by best friend PR duo and POSSE founders Jadon Medina and Marley Hemmen, the event unfolded at LGBTQ+ owned OR Bar (the former Gold Coast space), where icons and up-and-comers collided under a crystal chandelier in a haze of glitter, vodka martinis, and pure queer euphoria.

The night began at The POSSE House, where Half Magic Beauty transformed the showroom into a sparkling glam station. Talent including Tommy Genesis, Spice, Griffin Maxwell Brooks, Emmy Hartman, and ADÉLA were adorned in rhinestones, glitter liner, and glossy lids before piling into a branded stretch limo stocked with bedazzled Half Magic champagne. It was less a pregame and more a cinematic red carpet entrance.

By the time they arrived at the party, the energy was already electric. DJ Griffin Maxwell Brooks kicked off the night with a euphoric set, turning the dancefloor into something straight out of Studio 54. RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Symone lit up the room with a show-stopping performance from atop the bar, commanding attention beneath the chandelier. Later, Tommy Genesis and ADÉLA popped up in the DJ booth with high-voltage surprise sets that left the crowd breathless.

At the center of it all, Gigi Gorgeous was honored with this year’s POSSE Icon Award—a tribute to her enduring legacy and impact on queer visibility. Tove Lo, originally slated to be crowned POSSE Pride Mother, was unable to attend due to illness, but her name echoed through the night, shouted from the mic and celebrated on the dancefloor.

No detail went unnoticed. Guests sipped bespoke cocktails like “Disco Tits” and “Always Gorgeous,” created with Olga Vodka and Red Bull, while #LubeLife added a cheeky wink with sample packs in every bathroom. Half Magic’s glam team never clocked out, reapplying glitter and face gems to anyone who needed an extra touch of sparkle throughout the night.

For a few glittering hours, time didn’t matter. And as the lights pulsed and the dancefloor stayed packed, one thing was clear: POSSE doesn’t just throw parties. They build moments people remember beyond Instagram.
